The documents required to open an individual investment account are:

  • One (1) form of ID (if it is a driver’s permit, it must be accompanied by a 2nd national ID or birth certificate)
  • The most recent utility bill or bank statement as the proof of address (no older than 6 months)
  • A job letter OR pay slip (no older than 3 months). If it is a job letter, please ensure the salary amount is clearly stated and the letter is addressed to:

    6th Floor, Newtown Centre,
    30-36 Maraval Road, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
  • For clients residing outside Trinidad & Tobago (and non-nationals), a recent bank reference letter is required. Do note that two (2) forms of identification are needed, instead of one (1). All IDs and documents that require a signature should be signed by a notary public.
  • Self-employed persons (management accounts for the last 3 years or 12 months, along with bank statements and bank reference letters are also needed).
